Clarence is the only child of James & Esther - with the exception of the two small children - to be buried on the Pennington lot at Old Bostwick Lake cemetery.   Clarence was born May 1, 1874 - the second youngest.  The 1920 and 1930 Censuses show Clarence living in a boarding house in Duluth, Minnesota.  He is a common laborer - a doer of odd jobs.

Clarence died at Oliver's home in Alto on October 5, 1937.  He was 63.
